Terms and Conditions – “Missing Word” Competition 2023

  1. Eligibility: Open to UK residents aged 18 and over. Employees and family members of The Intermediary, Downing Property Finance, and any other companies associated with the competition are ineligible. Entrants must work in the UK property finance space or a related field.
  2. Competition Period: Entries accepted until 11:59 PM GMT on 31st December.
  3. Entry Method: Participants must submit their headline completions through the specified method on our website. Use of the competition hashtag #MissingWordChallenge on social media is encouraged but not required.
  4. Multiple Entries: Multiple entries per person are allowed, but each entry must be distinct.
  5. Content Guidelines: Entries must be original and suitable for a general audience. Offensive or inappropriate submissions will be disqualified.
  6. Prizes: The first prize is a year-long subscription to The Sourcing Table Wine Club, including a quarterly mixed case of 6 wines. The second prize is a Salts of the Earth Mixed Case from the Wine Club. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  7. Winner Selection: Winners will be chosen by a panel from Downing Property Finance and The Intermediary. Decisions are final.
  8. Notification: Winners will be notified by email or phone and must respond within a specified timeframe to claim their prize. Unclaimed prizes may be forfeited or awarded to alternate winners.
  9. Publicity: Winners may be required to participate in promotional activities. Entry into the competition grants The Intermediary and its partners the right to use names and entries for advertising purposes without additional compensation.
  10. Data Protection: Personal data provided by participants will be used in accordance with our privacy policy.
  11. Liability: The Intermediary and partners are not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of participation in this competition or the awarding of prizes.
  12. Competition Changes: The Intermediary reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice.
  13. Dispute Resolution: Disputes will be resolved at the discretion of The Intermediary, in accordance with UK law.
  14. Acceptance of Terms: Participation in the competition constitutes an entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these terms and conditions.
