Catalyst, the specialist lending firm, has today revealed the appointment of Evelyn Thornton as their new financial controller.
Thornton transitions into the financial sector after a career primarily in manufacturing and retail, bringing experience from her time with notable companies such as Starbucks, Lush, and Pulse-Eight. Her expertise lies in establishing and developing internal finance departments and instilling scalable, robust processes.
Thornton said: “I have great attention to detail, am keen to share my knowledge and love a spreadsheet! I’m excited to be part of the Catalyst team, they have a refreshing outlook on work and have fun doing it!”

Thornton’s role at Catalyst will involve oversight of the finance function and supplying the management team with vital data and insights to guide the company through its forthcoming growth phase.
