Harpenden Building Society joins LMS Panel Link

Harpenden Building Society has chosen LMS Panel Link to drive efficiencies in its conveyancing process.

LMS Panel Link is designed to connect mortgage lenders with law firms that meet specific quality, security and compliance criteria.

LMS provides a fully vetted panel that meets the lender’s exact requirements with additional functionality to protect its borrowers from potential fraud.

The move to LMS Panel Link aligns with the society’s core mission, ensuring that customers are protected through the home-buying journey, by enabling access to a fully vetted panel of conveyancing firms, as well as LMS’s anti-fraud tools.

Harpenden Building Society will also be utilising LMS SecureLink to reduce post-offer conveyancing queries and to enable automated and secure messaging with their panel of law firms.

SecureLink is proven to reduce law firm communications into lender teams by up to 70%, with agreed FAQ’s designed to instantly answer queries without having to escalate to the lender.

Harpenden Building Society will also benefit from LMS’s recently enhanced Charge Registration Service, providing real-time updates on the position of applications at HMLR and tracking all cases through to registration.

Suzanne O’Connor, chief relationship officer at LMS, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Harpenden Building Society into our extensive network of lender partners.

“This exciting partnership not only shows our commitment to revolutionising the mortgage landscape but also reaffirms our shared vision of making the home-buying and remortgage process as simple as possible for our stakeholders.”

Gemma Fient, director of operations at Harpenden Building Society, added: “As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional service and staying at the forefront of industry innovation, Harpenden Building Society is proud to be partnering with LMS for its unique Panel Link service.

“This strategic move reflects our dedication to customer centricity – by leveraging the power of Panel Link, we can utilise an enhanced, digitised experience while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.”
