The Exeter appoints new CIO and creates head of insurance solutions role

The Exeter has named Ali Law as its new chief information officer and Toby Bainbridge as the head of insurance solutions, a newly created role.

With over thirty years in digital transformation and IT in the financial services sector, Law’s experience includes roles at Royal London and Hayna Partners Ltd.

Law said: “The Exeter’s commitment to leveraging new technologies to help drive future growth is something that aligns with my passion for innovation and business transformation. I am excited to be joining a strong team and to seeing how we can further develop our technology capabilities in the future.”

Bainbridge, set to begin in April, brings nearly two decades of experience from the insurance industry, with previous positions at Royal London, LV=, Munich Re, and Legal & General.

He added: “The opportunity to lead a newly established team in an innovative company such as The Exeter is truly exciting.”
