Dwello Mortgages, based in Shropshire, marks its first anniversary with a successful track record, having secured mortgage offers totalling £5.6m.
Founded by former professional footballer Nathan Blissett, the firm has quickly become an established player in the mortgage industry.
The firm has grown significantly in its first year, expanding its team with the addition of Abi Suckling as an administrator.
Blissett shared his thoughts on the transition from sports to finance: “I was really looking forward to the new challenge when I started Dwello but must admit that it also felt a little scary. Things couldn’t have gone any better however and it has been an amazing year.”
Dwello Mortgages has made substantial strides in community engagement and plans to become a national brand.
Blissett expressed his optimism about the firm’s impact and future: “It has been truly exceptional – we have completed and secured mortgage offers of £5.6m since we launched which far exceeds the expected growth of the business in its first year.”

Blissett is confident in their trajectory: “We started out during one of the worst economic times but got out there and started building those all-important relationships – starting in such a bad time makes you put your roots down deeper and value every customer more than ever.”
