Nottingham Building Society welcomes Maxine Davenport as new head of underwriting

Nottingham Building Society has appointed Maxine Davenport (pictured) as its new head of underwriting.

With over 20 years of experience in mortgage underwriting, product lifecycle management and operational risk environments, Davenport brings a wealth of expertise to her new role.

Most recently serving as product and business manager at Aldermore Bank, Davenport has held various leadership positions within Aldermore, including head of underwriting, senior operations manager, senior internal auditor and credit quality assurance.

Praven Subbramoney, chief lending officer at Nottingham Building Society, said: “Maxine’s skills and experience will be of great value to us as we focus on transforming our mortgage offer, finding innovative ways to support under-served segments of the market and helping as many people as possible achieve their homeownership ambitions.
