The latest edition of The Specialist podcast by Pepper Money, hosted by Rob Barnard hit Spotify and other platforms this morning, featuring Matt Tristram, co-founder of Loans Warehouse.
The Specialist is in its fourth season, but this was the first time the biggest second charge lender in the market has utlitised the platform to promote second charge lending.
Barnard and Tristram, among other things, discuss the simplicity of writing a second charge if you know what to do, the evolution of technology into the space, and the evidence that despite the headline figures of £225bn versus £1.4bn in lending between first and second mortgages, actually they may not be that far apart.
Barnard said on Linkedin today: “This was a tough one to trim as it’s packed with great content & conversation.
“I’m talking more all the time about seconds at events and in meetings and of course on this podcast – following a challenge set by Matt … and I’m loving it.”
