Movera has appointed Karen Buckley as people and culture director and Sonia Robertson as head of talent to strengthen its talent team.
These appointments follow Movera’s rebranding last autumn, which unified various home moving brands, including ONP Solicitors and CLG.
Buckley brings over 25 years of HR experience, having held leadership roles in professional and financial services and the automotive sector. She will focus on building a high-performing culture and positioning Movera as an employer of choice.
Robertson, now head of talent, has worked with leading companies such as M&S, O2, Virgin, Vodafone, and the Co-op. She will advance Movera’s recruitment efforts during this significant growth period.
Claire Smith, chief people officer at Movera, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Sonia and Karen to Movera. Karen’s extensive experience and proven track record in fostering positive and productive work environments will be invaluable as we continue to grow and scale our business.
“Karen’s commitment to employee development and creating a culture of inclusion aligns perfectly with our core values. Sonia’s deep understanding of the recruitment landscape and her proven ability to attract top talent will propel Movera’s growth strategy forward.
“Her focus on creating a positive candidate experience and building a strong employer brand will ensure we have the best team to achieve our ambitious goals.”
Buckley commented: “I am incredibly excited to join Movera at such a pivotal time in the company’s growth. The positive and supportive culture at Movera is truly inspiring, and I look forward to working with the leadership team to further develop a work environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to succeed.”
Robertson added: “I am working closely with marketing to deliver an external recruitment marketing campaign to raise awareness of the Movera brand and with our learning and development team to ensure we have the right level of training available for those new candidates we are recruiting. It is the art of the possible at the moment and everyone is working collaboratively, which is incredibly exciting. We have a great culture here at Movera and that’s something we can use to our advantage.”
