NatWest has announced significant changes to its residential mortgage rates, effective from tomorrow, Thursday, 20th June 2024, offering better deals for both new purchases and remortgages.
Key changes include a reduction in the 2-year fixed rate purchase mortgages. At 75% loan-to-value (LTV), rates have dropped by 0.13% across various product fee options. This means rates now start at 4.84% with a £995 fee, down from 4.97%.
For 5-year fixed rate purchase mortgages, rates at 60% LTV have decreased by 0.10% to 4.40% with a £995 product fee. Additionally, at 75% LTV, rates have been reduced by 0.08%, now starting at 4.49% with a £995 fee.
In the remortgage segment, significant rate reductions are also observed. The 2-year fixed rate remortgage at 75% LTV has seen a reduction of 0.13%, bringing rates down to 4.98% with a £1,495 product fee and cashback offers.
Moreover, the 5-year fixed rate remortgage at 80% LTV has decreased by 0.17%, now offering rates starting at 5.02% with a £995 product fee.
