Leeds Building Society cuts rates for the second time in a week

Leeds Building Society has made further reductions across its mortgage range, with rates being cut by up to 0.16%.

The latest adjustments come following the society’s announcement of initial rate cuts on Tuesday, 13th August.

Among the highlights is a 2-year fixed-rate mortgage with a £999 fee, available for both purchase and remortgage at 65% loan-to-value (LTV).

The rate for this product has been reduced from 4.60% to 4.44%, a decrease of 0.16%.

Additionally, a new 2-year fixed-rate mortgage with no fee has been introduced at 65% LTV, with a rate set at 4.75%. This product is also available for both purchase and remortgage.

At 75% LTV, several products have seen rate reductions. The society’s 2-year fixed-rate mortgage with a £1499 fee now has a rate of 4.45%, down from 4.60%, representing a 0.15% reduction.

Similarly, a 2-year fixed-rate mortgage with a £999 fee has been reduced from 4.69% to 4.54%.

Another 2-year fixed-rate option, which comes with no fee, has seen its rate drop from 4.99% to 4.84%, also a reduction of 0.15%.
