The voting period for the National Mortgage Awards – Second Charge has been extended for two weeks, allowing more industry professionals to have their say.
Initially scheduled to close last night, the decision to extend voting followed popular requests from participants for more time to get the word out and bring in votes.
This extension ensures that everyone who wishes to participate has ample opportunity to do so, reflecting the awards’ commitment to inclusion and fairness.
By granting this additional time, the organisers aim to increase engagement and ensure that the final results accurately represent the views of the wider second charge industry.
Ryan Fowler, publisher of The Intermediary, said: “We’re thrilled with the enthusiasm and interest we’ve seen so far for the National Mortgage Awards – Second Charge.
“Extending the voting period allows us to accommodate the strong demand and ensure that every voice is heard.
“We encourage everyone to take advantage of this extra time to cast their vote and support the industry’s top performers.”
Via the short form here, people can nominate either themselves or others – across multiple categories – for recognition of their work in the second charge sector, whether a broker, lender or third-party.
After initial nominations have been made, The Intermediary will undertake a research period in lieu of long-form submissions, after which a select panel of judges will be enlisted to make the final decisions.
Voting will now close on 13th September and you can submit your votes here.
The National Mortgage Awards event will take place on the evening of 14th November at RIBA, Portland Place, and will include drinks, dinner, live music and late-night entertainment, hosted by former England Rugby star Martin Bayfield.
