Coventry Building Society has been named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Financial Services and Insurance for the second year running by Great Place to Work.
The society earned the achievement based on feedback from the annual employee survey.
The results were based on elements such as work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety, and financial security.
Great Place to Work analysed the responses of 26 financial services and insurance employees to determine the Best Workplaces list.
It also looked at how consistent the employee experience is across all departments and at all levels.
The society has already been named on the lists for Best Workplaces for Women, Best Workplaces for Wellbeing, Best Workplaces for Development and the overall 11th super-large organisation on the list of the UK’s Best Workplaces.
Lucy Becque, chief people officer at Coventry Building Society, said: “It’s always great news when we hear that we’ve made the lists for these categories, and ‘best’ for Financial Services is definitely one of the places we like to be!
“With a growing collection of awards, including recognition for wellbeing, for women and for development, the Society is proud to be recognised as a ‘Great Place to Work’.
“We’re also proud to say that as we grow the Society, having recently celebrated our 140th year, we continue to be recognised as a place where people matter.
“It’s really important for us to make sure our culture is one which makes every colleague feel valued and gives them a place to shine, as well as adding a touch of fun to the workplace.”
