Knowledge Bank has reached the 100th episode of its podcast series for mortgage professionals, Lenders Live.
Since its inception in July 2022, Lenders Live has brought together hundreds of guests to discuss trending topics and market conditions.
The series was originally hosted by Ying Tan, then Nicola Firth, and currently Shane Chawatama.
The first session of Lenders Live reflected the challenges of the time, addressing issues like broker burnout and rate pulls, which were highly relevant to the market in mid-2022.
In September 2022, after the Liz Truss mini-Budget, Lenders Live provided a forum for the industry to debate and discuss.
Now, with the 100th session on the horizon, Knowledge Bank is marking this occasion with a special day of curated events.
Lenders Live 100 will take place on Monday 23rd September, offering a flexible format that allows attendees to join sessions throughout the day, dipping in and out of discussions as they see fit.
The event will start at 10am, concluding at 3:30pm.
Topics will include: Mental Health and wellbeing – with an expert panel from Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter (MIMHC); Diversity and Inclusion – with Women in Mortgages (WIM) and the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI); and Technology in Lending, talking about how tech innovations are transforming mortgage processes and improving efficiency.
The 10am session starts with some of the original quests. Shane will be joined by Ying Tan, Karen Rodrigues, Andrew Montlake and Roger Morris.
Nicola Firth, founder and CEO of Knowledge Bank, said: “Lenders Live has grown into a staple for brokers and industry professionals, providing a consistent stream of fresh ideas, news, and insights.
“This 100th session is not just a reflection on how far we’ve come, but also a look forward, covering the most important topics facing the industry today.
“These sessions wouldn’t work without the support of the whole industry, to join panels and to tune in and listen too.”
Shane Chawatama, sales director at Knowledge Bank, said: “The team and I cannot wait to celebrate this milestone. Listeners only hear me, but the whole team are involved in the sessions and work hard to keep this going for the industry.
“It’s a pleasure to welcome on new panellists and I am excited to see who else joins in the future. We are grateful for thew support from our industry peers in getting involved.
“The session on Monday will be spectacular, and we hope to see people coming in and out of these sessions over the course of the day”
