London Credit launches free CPD training for brokers

London Credit has launched two free CPD-accredited training events for brokers, with guidance on the differences between regulated and unregulated lending.

The CPD workshops will take place on the 9th and 10th October at London Credit’s office in Soho Square, London.

The events will be presented by Ray Cohen from Jackson Cohen Associates, on the topic of regulated versus unregulated lending.

Each session will be followed by a Q&A session and a networking gathering with wine and food.

Marios Theophanous (pictured), credit manager at London Credit, said: “These events will help brokers to gain greater insight into which loans are regulated, which are unregulated and which are exempt.

“It will explain why the difference matters, set out what permissions are needed and offer a chance for brokers to pose questions about specific scenarios.

“Understanding how processes and responsibilities vary between regulated and unregulated lending is a vital consideration for all brokers and Ray Cohen is an excellent speaker with great expertise in this area.

“I would encourage brokers to register as soon as possible before this event also becomes oversubscribed.”
