Coventry Building Society named among Fortune 100 best places to work in Europe

Coventry Building Society has been named one of Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work for in Europe™, making it the only UK bank or building society on the list.

The society placed 82nd, maintaining its status as one of the best workplaces in the UK for the past three years.

The Fortune list was compiled by Great Place to Work and Fortune, focusing on employee feedback.

To qualify, companies must appear on national Best Workplaces lists in various European countries.

Evaluation is based on the Trust Index™ Survey, which includes 60 questions assessing employee sentiment.

Lucy Becque, chief people officer at Coventry Building Society, said: “We’re incredibly honoured to be recognised as one of Fortune’s Best Companies to Work for in Europe.

“Every colleague across our entire branch network and head office sites contributes to making this a fantastic place to work.

“We believe that a good workplace culture, built on a strong sense of purpose, ambition and care for each other is essential for success.

“Our achievements are a result of prioritising the wellbeing and growth of our people and we continue to strive to build an even better place to work for everyone.”

The latest recognition adds to the Society’s accolades, which include being named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Women, Wellbeing, Development, and Financial Services and Insurance.
