Propertymark hosts regional conferences in the South East

Propertymark will host regional conferences in the South East this month, with events scheduled for Kent on 10th October and Sussex on 16th October.

In response to demand, the professional body doubled the size of its conference programme for 2024, and continues to offer members a complimentary place at a regional conference of their choice.

These conferences provide a chance for members to stay updated on new legislation and to bring back skills and knowledge to their branches.

They also offer opportunities for networking with other professionals and learning about best practices in the industry.

Attendance can be recorded as Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Speakers include Angharad Trueman, ARLA Propertymark president, James Munro, head of the National Trading Standards Estate and Letting Agency Team, and Toby Leek, NAEA Propertymark president.

Other key speakers include Jason Lee, head of commercial at Propertymark, Alex Jeffrey, partner at Bright Solicitors, Timothy Douglas, head of policy and campaigns at Propertymark, Michael Day, managing director of consultancy service Integra Property Services, and Timothy Bannister, director of property science innovation at Rightmove.

Specific speakers for the Kent Conference include Lucy Noonan, founder of Atomic Consultancy, and Stuart Collar-Brown, advisory panel member for NAVA Propertymark.

The Sussex Conference will feature Natasha Barrow, head of affinities at Gallagher, David Leary, advisory panel member for NAVA Propertymark, Paul Shamplina, founder of Landlord Action, and Richard Worrall, immediate past president for NAVA Propertymark.

Jason Lee, head of commercial at Propertymark, said: “Propertymark’s regional conferences continue to grow in popularity, which is why we are proud to provide members a free place as part of our #MoreFor24 Campaign.

“There has been a huge uptake in non-members attending our brilliant events too as they see the buzz from socials during the events and don’t want to miss out.

“Have a look at our industry suppliers list if there’s one that you use; they may be able to assist you with a discounted ticket to the conference.

“We hope that all delegates will use these conferences as a chance to network with professionals and gain new skills.

“If you have not booked your place at any of the remaining events for the year, do so quickly, as places are now extremely limited.”
