Scottish Widows has been announced as the latest insurer to join CIExpert’s income protection insight zone, starting from today (8th October 2024).
Scottish Widows is the fifth insurer to be featured in CIExpert’s platform, which provides advisers with vital information on life, critical illness, and income protection products.
The Scottish Widows Protect Income Protection Plan offers key features including enhanced underwriting, Fracture Cover, and Hospitalisation Benefit.
The plan also includes a pre-sale underwriting tool and a New Business Dashboard for advisers, providing 24/7 access to their case pipeline.
Paul Roberts, proposition and distribution director at CIExpert, said: “We’re delighted to welcome another major insurer – Scottish Widows – to our Income Protection Insight Zone, especially in support of their new income protection.
“The interactive tools and insights offered will be invaluable for both novice and experienced advisers, helping to demystify the complexities of protection products enabling advisers to confidently focus on the crucial aspects in their important protections conversation with their clients.
“We’ve collaborated closely with Scottish Widows not only to integrate them into the Insight Zones but also to link to their own sales support tools from within the same single, centralised protection hub. We look forward to continuing this development together.”
Rose St. Louis, protection director at Scottish Widows, said: “Delivering good outcomes for our customers is a shared aim both for Scottish Widows and the advisers we work with.
“That’s why having access to CIExpert’s Insight Zones for Scottish Widows protection plans can help them better understand customer journeys and bring to life the quality, flexibility and simplicity of our newly launched Income Protection offering.
“This, in turn, will hopefully give them the tools for meaningful conversations with the clients, so that together we can continue working on closing the nation’s protection gap and providing financial safety net in the moments that matter.”
