Broker Sonya Matharu has launched a new firm, The Mortgage Atelier.
The firm aims to provide personalised mortgage solutions for clients at every stage of property ownership, from first-time buyers to seasoned investors.
Based in West Sussex and operating nationwide, The Mortgage Atelier was established after Matharu observed homebuyers feeling overwhelmed by the mortgage process.
She identified a lack of knowledge and support as a major issue, and said the firm will aim to prioritise listening, education, and empowerment.
Matharu previously worked as a senior mortgage broker at The Mortgage Mum.
Matharu said: “The mortgage process can be daunting for so many people.
“The industry is filled with complex terminology and uncertainty, and it’s easy for clients to feel lost in it all.
“This sparked my desire to do more—to help people on a larger scale.
“At The Mortgage Atelier, we’re not just here to find mortgage solutions.
