Specialist lender CHL Mortgages has expanded its broker support network by appointing Shaun Persaud as its new business development manager (BDM) for Essex and East Anglia, increasing its sales team of BDMs to six.
Persaud joins CHL Mortgages after a stint at Omega Commercial Solutions as a broker and brings a varied background that includes roles as a commercial broker at Go Finance, a mortgage broker at Taylor Rose Financial Services, and as a financial advisor.
Persaud expressed enthusiasm for his new role, noting: “I feel like my whole career has been building up to this point. I’m really looking forward to taking my previous experiences and things I’ve learnt along the way and applying them to a BDM role. I can’t wait to get out there, start building relationships, and helping brokers grow their business with CHL Mortgages.”
