Market Harborough Building Society has appointed Mark Record (pictured) as non-executive director.

Record has over 35 years of experience in the sector and currently advises multiple boards.

He has held chief information officer roles at Masthaven Bank, Co-operative Bank, RBS, and Barclays.

This followed the recent appointment of Francesca Hampton to the board.

Record said: “I’m passionate about building high performing teams and working with leaders with strong values and ethics.

“So, I’m thrilled to be joining Market Harborough where our values are closely aligned.

“I can’t wait to help build on its existing success to deliver even more benefit for its customers, colleagues and communities.”

Iain Kirkpatrick, CEO of Market Harborough, said: “Mark will be an excellent addition to our Board, as he is well-versed in diverse areas of banking including challenger banks, strategy and transformation programmes.

“His experience will help us to further drive growth in 2025, ensuring we continue to do the right thing for our customers and broker partners through our Thrive! Agenda.”
