The Conveyancing Association (CA) has added Orbital Witness, a property due diligence automation platform that assists lawyers and property professionals, as its latest Affiliate member.
Orbital Witness’ AI solution, Orbital Residential, supports firms in their conveyancing processes.
In 2024, Orbital Witness received the ‘Conveyancing Collaborators of the Year’ award in partnership with Enact at the British Conveyancing Awards, as well as ‘Legal AI Supplier of the Year’ at the Modern Law Awards.
The company plans to partner with the CA to enhance engagement with customers and contribute to the discussions on the future of conveyancing with the integration of AI.
Orbital Witness will participate in the CA’s 2025 Annual Conference & Dinner on 30th January at the Hilton Deansgate Hotel in Manchester, titled ‘Past, present and future – where is the conveyancing industry up to and what can we expect in the future?’
Edmond Boulle, co-founder and chief strategy officer at Orbital Witness, said: “We’re thrilled to announce our membership of the Conveyancing Association, marking an exciting new chapter for our Orbital Residential product.
“Over the past two years, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with luminaries in the residential conveyancing community, gaining invaluable insights that have helped us take some of the pressure off conveyancing lawyers on tens of thousands of transactions.
“We’ve been continually inspired by the strength of this community and the willingness to collaborate and embrace the latest technology.
“Joining the Association gives us a fantastic opportunity to connect, engage and learn from its members as we look ahead to 2025.”
Nicky Heathcote, non-executive chair of the Conveyancing Association, said: “As always, it is a real pleasure to welcome a new Affiliate member to the CA and we are looking forward to working with the Orbital Witness team, introducing them to our member firms and building a strong relationship between all parties.
“Throughout 2025 Orbital Witness will have a presence at our meetings and specifically next year’s Annual Conference & Dinner which is now just over a couple of months away and promises to be a highly informative day for all who attend.
Heathcote added: “Being an Affiliate member of the CA is a hugely important step for any business, as it shows the commitment they have made to the conveyancing profession, and it also allows us as a representative body to make the most of their insight and resource to help us drive our workstreams and to improve the home buying and selling process for conveyancers and consumers.”
