Reward Funding expands team with three key appointments

Reward Funding has made three managerial appointments in response to rapid business growth in the North West.

Gemma Carson (pictured, far left) and Gareth Boardman (pictured, far right) have joined as relationship managers, while Sarah Gaskin (pictured, right centre) has taken on the role of business development manager (BDM) at the company’s office in Manchester.

Carson previously worked at Assetz Capital and SDKA; her focus will be on supporting new clients with their funding needs.

Boardman comes from Lloyds Banking Group, bringing 20 years of experience in commercial and private banking; he will support clients in the North West and help expand Reward’s client portfolio.

Gaskin will enhance Reward’s sales efforts in the region, strengthening relationships with commercial finance brokers and assisting businesses with their funding and expansion plans.

Reward also promoted Harriet Gibbs to the role of sales director, aimed at driving business growth alongside a dedicated team.

Steve Noble (pictured, left centre), regional managing director for Reward Funding in the West of the UK, said: “We’ve experienced rapid growth in the region over the last 12 months and this is reflected in both these latest hires and the level of talent and expertise we can attract to the business.

“We’re really keen to keep this momentum going, with our expansion to date largely being fueled by our pace and flexibility of lending and our capacity to fill the increasing funding void left by banks and other traditional lenders.”

Noble added: “Gemma, Gareth and Sarah each bring great commercial finance experience and vertical sector knowledge to the team.

“This benefits new or existing clients that are repeatedly turning to alternative funding to unlock further business growth opportunities.

“This, together with the appointment of Harriet, makes us a formidable team, and we look forward with real confidence.”
