Tipton & Coseley donates £5,879 to charities in West Midlands

Tipton & Coseley Building Society has issued nearly £6,000 in grants to support charity projects in the West Midlands.

The donations, made through its Charitable Foundation, totalled £5,879, benefiting eight organisations.

Birmingham Hospice received funding to help with running costs for its child bereavement service.

Cash for Kids will use its grant to buy presents for Mission Christmas, a festive gifting campaign.

Honeypot Children’s Charity and Kids Cancer Charity will fund respite breaks; one for young carers and the other for families dealing with childhood cancer diagnoses.

Additional grants were given to Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust, the National Institute of Conductive Education (NICE), React, and Read for Good.

The Tipton & Coseley Charitable Foundation aims to provide £10,000 annually, focusing on health and education in the Black Country area.

Adam Evetts (pictured, left), chief executive of the Tipton, said: “The Foundation is delighted to offer contributions to such a diverse range of projects that we know will directly benefit people living in our Black Country heartland.

“Our Foundation board were inspired by the stories shared by each and every charity that applied to us for support.

“Their work makes a genuine difference, especially to those facing hardship or experiencing vulnerability.”
