Just Move In and Propflo have partnered to increase awareness and take-up of green home improvements and to provide homeowners with advanced energy efficiency reports.
Just Move In offers homeowners access to a one-stop-shop for improvements – GreenVal – while Propflo will also offer Just Move In services to its homeowners via its improvement HomeHub.
With the Government bringing in new minimum energy efficiency standards for the private and social rented sectors, and energy bills rising by 10% in October, the firms argued that this would be a key priority for the country.
However, £250bn investment is required to bring properties up to standard and 80,000 homes need to be retrofitted per month, so greater awareness and access to information is needed.
Homeowners using Just Move In can now view the short and long-term benefits and costs associated with making a property more energy efficient and get quotes for a wide range of home improvements, from accredited local and national suppliers.
Customers can also explore low-cost and do-it-yourself improvement opportunities, available for direct purchase, while gaining insight into the impact a property can have on personal wellbeing, by rating contributing factors such as thermal comfort, air quality, and financial health.
Propflo will also feature Just Move In on their improvement HomeHub as standard with customisation available to business customers.
