Knowledge Bank has launched its ’12 Days of Giving’ campaign, which replaces its traditional ’12 Days of Christmas.’
Starting today (2nd December), the initiative runs for 12 working days and ends on 17th December.
This year focuses on donating to charities.
Brokers and lenders were invited to nominate their favourite charities, and Knowledge Bank selected 12 to highlight throughout December.
Each day a new charity will be revealed, with a link to its donations page going live to encourage contributions.
An advent calendar on Knowledge Bank’s homepage will showcase these charities, while emails will be sent to subscribers detailing the work of each charity.
Nicola Firth, CEO of Knowledge Bank, said: “Our ‘12 Days of Christmas’ campaign has been incredibly popular over the years and thanks to our partners we’ve given out some amazing prizes. But this year we wanted to do something different.
“Christmas is notably a time for giving and we thought what better way than to give to a selection of amazing charities.”
“We asked our brokers and lenders to nominate charities that they felt were worthy causes.
“This has resulted in us being able to support some well-known and wonderful causes but also highlight smaller and sometimes localised charities that wouldn’t ordinarily benefit from the spotlight.”
Firth added: “Choosing just 12 charities was a real challenge for the team as there are some incredibly worthy causes.
“We know that our industry has a big heart and we hope they’ll embrace the spirit of Christmas in our twist on the ’12 Days’ this year and donate to those charities that they feel they’d like to support.
“Our hope is that it will benefit some of those most in need at what can be a challenging time of year and give those who work for the charities a real boost to know that people care about the work they do.”
