Butterfield Mortgages has partnered with The Felix Project to support their work tackling food waste and hunger in London.

The Felix Project redistributes surplus food from supermarkets, suppliers and wholesalers to community groups, schools, and charities.

Last year, the charity provided 38 million meals to over 1,200 organisations across all London boroughs.

Alpa Bhakta (pictured), CEO of Butterfield Mortgages in the UK, said: “Butterfield cares about the communities it calls home, and The Felix Project is a remarkable charity that plays a vital role in supporting millions of people across London.

“As part of Butterfield’s overall sustainability framework, this partnership is very much aligned to our commitment to protecting the environment through sustainable consumption and supporting thriving communities through well-being.
