Hatch re-appointed to Homes England research framework

Hatch has been re-appointed to the £15m Homes England Strategic Research, Economics and Evaluation (SREE) Framework, which will run until 2028.

The framework aims to provide robust research to support the government agency’s strategic plan, develop a strong evidence base for future investment, and assess the impact of past programmes.

Hatch, along with 15 other consultants, will provide strategic advice to Homes England.

The business previously looked at Homes England stimulus programmes and evaluated their design, delivery, implementation, efficacy, and performance.

This included checking alignment with Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) processes.

Neil Walmsley, regional director UK/Europe, urban solutions at Hatch, said: “We’re very pleased to be able to extend our historic relationship with Homes England following this latest appointment to the SREE Framework.

“Through a series of business cases and evaluations under the previous framework we were able to engage with stakeholders across local government and the regeneration community, to truly understand Homes England’s reach and impact.”

Walmsley added: “We’re proud that the work we do supports the agency to drive effective housing delivery and we are delighted to have been re-appointed.

“It’s great that Homes England has endorsed our capabilities for another four years and we are especially mindful that the framework can be adopted for procurement by other public sector bodies wishing to benefit from our capacity to shape, justify and review pertinent matters related to housing and regeneration.”
