Scottish Building Society has announced a partnership with Legado to implement new technology aimed at enhancing communication with its members.
The collaboration is expected to provide a more streamlined and secure digital experience while also reducing costs associated with printing and postage, supporting the society’s net zero targets.
Scottish Building Society, the world’s oldest remaining building society, operates as a member-owned mutual, helping people save and buy homes. The new technology will allow the society to enhance its engagement with members by improving communication channels and digital accessibility.
Josif Grace, Legado’s CEO and founder, said: “Scottish Building Society will now be able to deliver a more streamlined, secure, and effective communication experience for its valued members. While we work with financial services brands across the UK, it’s great to be working with their team here in Edinburgh where we’re also headquartered.”
Legado also provides its digital platform and tools to financial services brands including FNZ, Moneyhub, and Co-op Legal Services.
Paul Denton, chief executive of Scottish Building Society, said: “Our members are at the heart of everything we do, and we are always looking at ways to improve their experience with us and to ease the journey for new members. Legado’s technology enables us to do exactly that, while allowing us to progress towards our net zero goals.”
Josif Grace added: “We are building intuitive digital journeys for the Society’s members, engendering more meaningful and impactful communication, and setting a new standard of service in the building society sector in the UK.”
