BLEND provides developer with £4.2m for Dorset housing scheme

BLEND has supported a local developer with a facility of £4.2m to deliver a five-unit housing scheme on the Dorest coastline.

The scheme boasts panoramic views to Bournemouth Bay, the Solent and the Isle of Wight.

The facility was arranged at 65% loan-to-gross-development-value (LTGDV).

David Alcock MRICS, MD at BLEND, said: “It’s great to be able to support local developers who really understand their market and are delivering what buyers are looking for.

“Navigating the planning system and assembling sites carries an additional level of expertise and by acknowledging this we have been able tailor a funding solution to fit, working closely with Nick at Bluechip.

“I’m looking forward to seeing the finished homes in what is an enviable
location.”

Nick Roberts, director at Bluechip Financial Ltd, said: “Bluechip Financial approached BLEND with an existing client who had assembled this site over a period of time.

“They had decided to redevelop the asset after obtaining a well-designed planning
approval.

“Bluechip have worked with numerous development finance providers over the years, and I am pleased to say BLEND were a pleasure to deal with and provided a facility that was Bespoke to the client’s requirements.

“Thanks to David and his team for providing a fantastic service to us and our clients.”
