HouzeCheck completes 40,000 property surveys across England and Wales

HouzeCheck has completed its 40,000th property survey, after operating for over seven years across England and Wales.

Most surveys have been Level 2 homebuyer surveys, about 34,000, with another 4,000 being Level 3 building surveys and 2,000 property valuations, according to HouzeCheck.

HouzeCheck said the surveys have come via mortgage brokers, conveyancers, estate agents, and direct from the website.

Richard Sexton (pictured), commercial director at HouzeCheck, said: “Thanks to our mortgage broker, conveyancer, and estate agent introducers, HouzeCheck has now completed 40,000 surveys on behalf of homebuyers.

“It can take 20 seconds to mention it to your client, and 10 seconds to click a link to send them the details once you’re registered with us – so it’s very little effort to support your own clients while benefiting from a referral income stream at the same time.”

Sexton added: “The quality of the HouzeCheck reports is unquestionably high, too: we are proud that HouzeCheck has never had a PI claim made against it, thanks to our rigorous audit programme and our bespoke tech which prompts surveyors to report accurately and consistently – for example, by offering suggestions linked to their inputs.

“And given we’re deliver a market-leading turnaround to our customer – our average report time is typically between two and three quarters and three days – we are helping to drive transactions forward, as well.

“Buyers who have commissioned a survey from us are less likely to pull out once they have sunk that cost and will use the report to negotiate as needed to conclude the transaction with increased certainty.”
