A record 2,633 advisers and 131 firms have qualified for VouchedFor’s 2025 guide to Top Rated Financial Advisers.
The final numbers mark a 20% increase in qualifying advisers, and a 17% increase in qualifying firms, on last year.
The guide, which will be distributed in The Times this Saturday, 15th March, is the UK’s largest consumer campaign celebrating the value of advice.
Published by VouchedFor, the guide shares positive client stories and resources to help people understand the value of advice and lists the advisers and firms who meet the qualification criteria.
It will be published again in The Telegraph on 25th June.
Alex Whitson, managing director at VouchedFor, said: “Lack of trust remains one of the main reasons why people who need advice don’t engage with it.
“This is frustrating as 98% of clients say they’d recommend their adviser.
“More needs to be done to share these client stories and so it’s great to see a record number of advisers embracing client feedback and qualifying for the Top Rated Guide.”
Whitson added: “This year’s campaign will reach millions of consumers, helped by the support of asset manager BlackRock and adviser platform Fundment.”
Ola Abdul, founder and CEO of Fundment, said: “Fundment exists to help investors reach their financial goals.
“That starts with advisers – backed by great technology – building flexible plans to meet their clients’ needs.”We’re proud to support VouchedFor’s campaign to raise public awareness of the value of advice.”
Heather Christie, head of the UK adviser team at BlackRock, said: “In today’s complex financial landscape, having access to knowledgeable and trustworthy financial advisers can make all the difference in achieving your financial goals.
“Around a third of non-investors in the UK (33%) cite a lack of knowledge and understanding as reasons why they do not invest.
“That’s why we are excited to collaborate with VouchedFor on the 2025 Guide to Top Rated Financial Advisers, helping to empower individuals to navigate their investment journey with more confidence.”
