Pluto Finance has appointed Stephen Ryan (pictured) as lending director for Wales.
This follows a recent £30m commitment from the Wales Pension Partnership (WPP) to provide credit for small and medium enterprise (SME) housebuilders and developers to build much-needed housing through Pluto Finance’s local impact investment programme.
Ryan brings nearly 30 years’ commercial banking experience and has a strong track record of supporting and enabling residential and commercial development projects.
His most recent role was at Principality Commercial, where, for more than eight years, he focused on helping Welsh residential developers secure funding to deliver housing across region.
Prior to this, Ryan held senior positions at Handelsbanken, Santander, and Allied Irish Bank.
Following the initial £30m investment from WPP, Pluto is actively expanding its presence in Wales, strengthening its support for SME housebuilders and developers to help deliver much-needed housing and commercial projects across the region.
