Skipton Building Society Charitable Foundation has reopened its funding applications to support registered charities throughout the UK.
Operating independently from Skipton Building Society, the charity is overseen by a board of trustees, with six members not associated with the society.
The trustees focus on charities that support secure housing and improving financial wellbeing.
UK charities that qualify can apply for grants up to £10,000 for core operations, project costs, and small capital expenses.
Alison Davies, chair of the foundation, said: “Applications are now open for charities to apply for funding from the Skipton Building Society Charitable Foundation.
“With a focus on housing security and financial wellbeing, this support aims to help those who need it most.
“Eligible charities are encouraged to apply and continue driving positive change across the UK.”
Charities must satisfy eligibility requirements, including being established for over three years and providing direct benefits to people in the UK.
Applications will undergo review by the board, with successful candidates informed within 28 days.
For 2025, there are two application periods: for the June meeting, applications opened on 3rd March 2025 and will close on 1st May 2025.
For the December meeting, they open on 1st September 2025 and close on 31st October 2025.
