Dougall Baillie Associates marks 40 years with 10% growth in revenue and staff

Dougall Baillie Associates (DBA) has marked its 40th year in business with a 10% rise in revenue and a 10% increase in staff numbers over the last year.

The engineering consultancy, based in East Kilbride, works with clients from large developers to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), taking on projects ranging from single house extensions to developments with thousands of homes.

The business now employs 41 people and has recently moved into new markets.

Fergus Adams (pictured), managing director at DBA, said: “As we celebrate 40 years in business, I’m proud to say our commitment to excellence continues to shine through – customer satisfaction remains exceptionally high, and we’re consistently earning new clients through the strength of our reputation and word-of-mouth.

“Our continued growth is reflected in the scale of projects we’re delivering – from securing major developments like Durieshill on the outskirts of Stirling, the largest single planning application in Scotland, to actively supporting the housing sector with 6,000 homes across live sites, 8,000 in the design and approval pipeline, and expert engineering input for local plan submissions that could unlock a further 23,000 homes.”

Adams added: “As a key player in tackling Scotland’s housing crisis, Dougall Baillie Associates is at the forefront of delivering sustainable, high-quality developments.”
