Vida Homeloans has confirmed that Helen Cawthra, head of intermediary relationships, is leaving the business to take on a new role in the mortgage industry.
The news comes as the specialist lender launches a new distribution model, part of a wider transformation programme following its recent banking licence authorisation.
Cawthra has played a key role in shaping Vida’s intermediary relationships and supporting broker engagement during a period of significant growth. Her departure coincides with structural changes designed to consolidate the mortgage experience into a single, expanded team reporting to chief operating officer Tommy Wight.
To support the transition, Vicky Birkby has been appointed director of strategy and partnerships, while Deb Smith will continue to lead Vida’s Decisioning Excellence team.
Anth Mooney, chief executive officer at Vida, said: “The banking licence authorisation was just the start of our journey to become the UK’s most trusted Specialist Mortgage Bank.
“Our new distribution model further enhances the Vida experience for all our partners, and we are committed to investing in delivering exceptional service and proposition development.”
The changes form part of Vida’s multi-year mortgage transformation programme and reflect the lender’s focus on strategic alignment, service delivery and intermediary engagement.
