Valouran secures planning consent for high-end development in Knightsbridge

Valouran has secured planning consent for the development of a Grade II listed terraced house at 24 Cadogan Square in Knightsbridge.

The project, a joint venture with Marcus Cooper Group, will see the house restored to its original grandeur, complete with high ceilings and extensive entertainment spaces.

The derelict mews house at the rear will be partially rebuilt with a modern design, connecting it to the main house.

The five-storey property will include four bedrooms, multiple reception spaces, two kitchens, terraces with uninterrupted views, and a lift.

The development spans 8,578 square feet in the Hans Town conservation area and is currently vacant.

Valouran founders Alex Michelin and Matthew Robertson aim to add significant value to their London portfolio, which now exceeds 445,677 square feet, valued at over £1.1bn.

Michelin said: “This development demonstrates Valouran’s commitment to create value for our partners and investors by crafting exceptional homes that people will want to live in for a lifetime.

“The approval of our planning proposal to enhance this listed building illustrates the team’s ability to work sensitively with historic buildings and with the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea to deliver valuable outcomes for all stakeholders.

“It also shows the diverse array of skills and range of assets that we have the expertise to deliver.”

Michelin added: “24 Cadogan Square will be an exemplary, best-in-class family home, setting a new benchmark for this central London neighbourhood.”
