YBS Commercial named ‘Best Commercial Mortgage Provider’ at Business Moneyfacts Awards

YBS Commercial Mortgages has been named ‘Best Commercial Mortgage Provider’ at the 2025 Business Moneyfacts Awards.

The commercial lender was also highly commended in the category ‘Best Service from a Commercial Mortgage Provider’.

The annual financial awards ceremony celebrates the best in financial services, with finalists and winners decided using product monitoring alongside broker and business community feedback.

Angela Norman (pictured), interim managing director of YBS Commercial Mortgages, said: “We’re delighted to win this award, based on feedback from our brokers.

“As a business, we’re really proud of what we’ve achieved over the last 12 months – from strengthening our teams on the ground, to new products which have enabled us to branch out into new markets and help more borrowers, as well as undertaking a whole host of process-driven improvements to improve the customer journey.

“These changes are fundamental to our success, and a clear focus as we continue to drive improvements, setting our sights on delivering for brokers and customers, digital efficiencies and optimising the customer journey even further.

“It’s fantastic to receive this award, as well as to receive recognition as highly commended in the category ‘Best Service from a Commercial Mortgage Provider’ and I’m grateful both to the brokers who supported us and to every single member of our fantastic team for the part they have played in our achievements and success to date, and as we move forward into the future.”

YBS Commercial Mortgages also sponsored the award category ‘Commercial Mortgage Introducer of the Year’.

Norman said: “Congratulations to Watts Commercial Finance for winning this award, which is well-deserved recognition of their hard work and dedication.

“We’re proud to sponsor this award again and celebrate with the best in the industry.

“Our long-standing relationships with our brokers and introducers are fundamental to our business and are so important to us.”

Lee Tillcock, editor of Business Moneyfacts, said: “The business finance sector has once again worked tirelessly to support growth during the past 12 months, and while the past year has provided ongoing challenges to the economy, brokers and lenders in the commercial finance sector once again provided the support that businesses and their partners required to maintain momentum and help realise growth plans.

“The finalists and eventual winners at this year’s awards should be rightly proud of their achievements and have offered a range of products and services that have best supported the sector, at a time when its success and growth remain so vital.”
