DM Hall appoints Darroch Robertson as director in Inverurie

DM Hall, an independent firm of chartered surveyors operating across Scotland, has appointed Darroch Robertson (pictured) as a director in its Inverurie office.

Robertson, who has over 20 years’ experience in senior surveyor roles, returns to the firm after previously starting his career there as a graduate in 2001.

He became a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2004 and spent over 10 years as a partner at another nationwide firm.

In his new role, Robertson will handle home reports, homebuyers reports, mortgage valuations and energy performance certificates for lenders, solicitors, housebuilders and private clients across the North East of Scotland.

Robertson said: “It’s a happy homecoming to DM Hall for me and I’m very pleased to be operating out of the Inverurie office from where I hope and expect to make a clear contribution to DM Hall’s professional offering to clients.”

John McHugh, managing partner at DM Hall, said: “We take great delight in the culture, ethos and professionalism of the firm and there is particular delight in welcoming back Darroch to DM Hall where he initially trained and qualified.

“In returning at this point in his career, he brings with him a wealth of knowledge, insight and experience which we know will provide a major boost to the quality of the expert advice we already offer our clients in the North East of Scotland and we firmly believe he will be a tremendous asset in helping fulfil DM Hall’s future growth plans.”
