ValidPath launches new brand and website to support IFAs

ValidPath has launched a new brand identity and website to support independent financial advisers (IFAs) at all stages of their career.

The network said its refreshed website makes it easier for advisers to see the benefits of joining, whether they are starting up, building their business or planning for retirement.

Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) data showed IFAs work across a wide age range, with one in four under 40, nearly a third aged 50 to 59, and almost one in five over 60.

Research from ValidPath found 66% of IFAs were optimistic about the outlook for their business over the next 12 months, with another 29% extremely optimistic.

The research also showed 49% said access to technology made their job easier and 46% said access to support was important for running their business.

Angus MacNee, CEO at ValidPath, said: “Our mission is to support IFAs to operate and thrive, now and into the future.

“As more IFAs seek to start a business, switch to our modern proposition, or plan for their exit, our messaging aims to reinforce ValidPath’s commitment to supporting IFAs at all stages of their business journey.

“This is important as almost 50% of IFAs are optimistic about their business when they have access to the support they need, and having access to the right support is an enabler for business growth and success.”

MacNee added: “An analogy is professional sport, where athletes need a dedicated support team to function successfully, and from their earliest stages of training to the pinnacle of their careers, they rely on expert guidance and resources to refine their skills and achieve their objectives.

“The same logic applies to financial advisers, and ValidPath provides the essential infrastructure, services and support for IFAs to start, run and grow (and sell) their business so they can focus on what matters: servicing their clients and building their business.

“Our brand refresh is more than a new look. It’s a commitment to authentic independent financial advice and our Member-focus: what matters to us is what we enable for others.”
