Albatross Lending has appointed Geoff Cooney (pictured, left) as regional lending manager for the South West of England.
Cooney has worked in finance for over 40 years, spending 20 as a broker and several in key in-house positions.
In this new role, Cooney will join the sales team to help launch Albatross Lending’s new secured small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) loan product in the region.
Cooney said: “What drew me to Albatross was the clarity of vision.
“This is a lender that leads with expertise and genuinely understands what makes a deal work.
“The South West is a region full of opportunity and I’m excited to help local businesses access the kind of intelligent, flexible lending they deserve. There’s a lot to look forward to.”
