Barclays UK has appointed Roland McCormack as head of mortgage intermediaries.
The newly-created role forms part of a leadership shake-up aimed at strengthening Barclays’ presence in the intermediary market.
McCormack will start on 1st July and will report to Lee Chiswell, head of mortgages at Barclays UK.
McCormack has more than 30 years’ experience in the mortgage sector, previously working at TSB Bank as mortgage distribution director.
In his new role, McCormack will oversee Barclays’ intermediary channel strategy and broker experience, as well as help shape the wider mortgage process at the bank.
