Eco Approach, a national provider of energy performance certification and domestic retrofit services, has acquired Propflo, an award-winning AI startup focused on energy efficiency engagement and analytics for the property and finance sectors.
The deal comes amid rising energy costs and increased regulatory pressure, with UK energy prices still 51% higher than in 2021 and minimum energy efficiency standards tightening across the private and social rented sectors.
The combined business will offer a comprehensive retrofit service that includes digital portfolio analysis, customer engagement tools, in-home energy assessments, and installation delivery. Eco Approach said the acquisition enables it to meet growing market demand while maintaining high standards of compliance and quality.

Propflo’s platform includes GreenVal, a digital energy performance and retrofit tool; HomeHub, a smart home improvement manager; and PortfolioAudit, which enables businesses to analyse their property stock and customer engagement in one system.

Eco Approach currently completes over 10,000 home visits a month, works with leading energy suppliers, and was recently ranked first for quality on the Procurement for Housing (PfH) framework. It holds accreditations including Constructionline Gold, SafeContractor and Trustmark, with operations based in London and Preston.
