Hodge appoints Nurlana Kerimli as BDM for London and South-East

Hodge has appointed Nurlana Kerimli (pictured) as its new business development manager (BDM) for London and the South-East, as the specialist lender continues to invest in strengthening intermediary relationships.

Kerimli brings over a decade of experience in lending and broker development, most recently working at AiR / Answers in Retirement as a senior business development consultant in the later-life lending sector.

Beginning her career in high street banking in 2013, Kerimli moved into mortgage advice in 2016, with later roles at More2Life and as a whole-of-market adviser.

Her background includes advising on equity release and managing cases across a wide borrower spectrum, from first-time buyers to portfolio landlords.

Commenting on her appointment, Nurlana Kerimli said: “My passion has always been helping people – whether that’s customers directly or advisers working to find the right fit for complex cases.

“Hodge’s approach to flexible lending really resonates with me, and I’m excited to bring that support to brokers across London and the South-East.”

The new hire supports Hodge’s wider efforts to expand in both the residential and later-life lending markets. While known for its later-life expertise, Hodge is increasingly supporting complex first-time buyers and customers seeking larger loans with non-standard income streams.

Emma Graham, business development director at Hodge, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Nurlana to the team.

“Her experience across advice and business development means she understands the broker journey inside out.

“As we continue to grow across the residential and later-life spaces, her role will be key in building relationships and supporting advisers who are dealing with complex customer profiles and multiple income sources.”
