Iress to host sixth protection industry forum

Iress will bring together leading figures from the protection industry in London on 25th June 2025 for its sixth protection forum.

The forum, called Beyond Protection, will take place at the AWS XP Centre and is aimed at encouraging collaboration and discussion about the future of the sector.

Attendees will hear from Vicky Churcher of the income protection task force, who will talk about changes in the market and what consumers need.

Amazon Web Services is set to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on protection, while Helen Croft, head of life & health underwriting at SCOR, will cover how technology is changing risk assessment.

The programme includes an open discussion on underwriting, giving delegates the chance to take part and share ideas.

Jennifer Rafferty, managing director – sourcing at Iress, said: “This forum isn’t just about showcasing what we’ve done, it’s about working side by side with the industry to shape what comes next.

“Beyond Protection reflects our commitment to co-designing solutions with our clients that deliver meaningful outcomes for advisers and consumers.

“Some of our most impactful developments, like our integration with CIExpert, evolved from discussions at our forums and we’re excited to see what emerges from this one.”
