OMS expands Nationwide integration to support broader range of mortgage cases

One Mortgage System (OMS) has enhanced its integration with Nationwide, expanding the scope of its full application programming interface (API) link to support a wider variety of mortgage cases following user feedback.

Brokers using OMS can now submit Decisions in Principle (DIPs) for all types of Nationwide applicants, including self-employed clients, contractors, foreign nationals and those seeking interest-only products. The integration also supports product options such as Helping Hand and Extra Help.

Product Reservations can now be carried out directly within the OMS platform, helping brokers and clients avoid issues around interest rate changes. The system has been refined to speed up and simplify the submission process by transferring fact find information automatically from OMS to Nationwide’s intermediary platform, eliminating the need to rekey data. Nationwide’s decision is returned directly into OMS, allowing brokers to review, amend or resubmit if required.

Neal Jannels, managing director of One Mortgage System, said: “We’re always listening to what our lending partners and our users need and this speedy upgrade to the initial Nationwide integration reflects that.

“The result is a more complete, end-to-end journey for a wider variety of cases. It streamlines submissions and removes duplication, helping brokers and clients reach the right outcome more quickly and accurately.”

He added: “Our platform continues to evolve in line with broker needs and lender collaboration, and this is another key step in delivering a joined-up solution across the market.”

Andy Tilsley, Nationwide’s head of intermediary digital, said: “We continue to support the intermediary market by making it easier and quicker for brokers to do business with us.

“We’ve worked closely with OMS to enhance the digital journey to improve the quality of submission and save broker’s time. Today’s announcement represents a significant milestone, and we will look to build on this through further collaboration.”
