Mortgage Business Expo (MBE) has revealed that the keynote address at the MBE London event will be given by Rob Elder (pictured), the Bank of England’s Agent for Greater London.
Elder has worked for the Bank of England since 1998, having spent 12 years supporting the Monetary Policy Committee as an economist and in senior management.
His keynote will offer attendees at MBE London insights into the current state of the economy and the future outlook for the UK.
Taking place on 14th October at the Business Design Centre, MBE London follows the recently-held MBE North earlier this year.
MBE London will house a confirmed 50 exhibitors, as well as a seminar programme offering continued professional development (CPD) accredited learning.
As well as hearing from industry experts, visitors will have the chance to network with lenders and providers active in residential, commercial, bridging, and later life lending.
MBE London has continued its partnership with the Financial Intermediary & Broker Association (FIBA), and is delivered in partnership with Square 1 Media, MBE’s official PR partner.
Mike Mikunda, event director at MBE, said: “We are delighted to once again have the Bank of England’s Rob Elder delivering the keynote address at MBE London.
“His presentation last year was one of the highlights of the event, and he will provide all attendees with an informative and entertaining look into what lies ahead for the economy.
“Mortgage Business Expo is renowned for delivering the very best speakers for those in attendance, as well as the opportunity to spend time with providers, network with their peers, and earn CPD points in the process.”
Martin Reynolds, chair of FIBA, said: “We’re pleased to be partnering once again with Mortgage Business Expo, which continues to be a key date in the calendar for our members.
“The opportunity to meet lenders directly, gain market insight, and hear from influential speakers like Rob Elder adds real value for intermediaries.”
