Nivo has confirmed that Ruth Buscombe, the former Formula 1 strategist and performance engineer, will be a headline speaker at NivoCon 2025. The event, which focuses on innovation and best practice in specialist finance, will take place on 17th July at Convene, 22 Bishopsgate, in London.
Buscombe, who is now an analyst, commentator and presenter with the Formula 1 Group, is known for her expertise in race strategy, data analysis and decision-making under pressure.
At NivoCon, she will share insights on how data-driven performance principles from motorsport can be applied to the financial sector.
Alongside her keynote, the event will feature practical sessions for brokers and lenders, including panels on AI, packaging, and the broker–lender relationship.
Richard Davies, chief executive of Allica Bank, is also confirmed to speak, focusing on how the bank is scaling through the combination of human expertise and advanced technology.
Matthew Elliott, co-founder at Nivo, said: “Ruth brings a completely fresh perspective to lending, from a world where decisions have to be made quickly, intelligently, and with absolute confidence.
“Her insights into performance under pressure and how data-driven systems shape outcomes will offer valuable lessons for anyone involved in the world of specialist finance.
“At NivoCon, we’re not just talking about AI, we’re showing what it really looks like when applied effectively. If you want to learn from the best, challenge the status quo, and get ahead of where the industry’s going, NivoCon 2025 is the event you can’t afford to miss.”
