A2Dominion appoints first chief repairs officer

Housing association A2Dominion has appointed Andrew Warner as its first chief repairs officer.

The new role will focus on the strategy, delivery and performance of repairs and maintenance, including damp and mould.

The aim is to make sure residents have safe, good quality homes.

Warner joins from the Guinness Partnership, where he led Shepherds Bush Housing Association into a merger with Guinness.

Before that, he was director of business improvement at the National Pharmacy Association.

Warner has over 25 years’ experience in operational and strategic roles in both private and non-profit sectors.

Warner said: “I am very much looking forward to working with Ian, the Board and executive to provide leadership and help colleagues and residents on the journey that we have ahead.

“A2Dominion has a clear strategy, tonnes of ambition and a real opportunity to make a difference, and I welcome being a part of that.”

Ian Wardle, CEO at A2Dominion, said: “I’d like to welcome Andrew to the team and look forward to working together to improve our customers’ repairs experience.

“The creation of the new chief repairs officer role shows our commitment to and focus on improving our day-to-day repairs and maintenance service, and Andrew’s expertise will be key in making this successful.”
