AdviserSoftware.com, part of Financial Technology Research Centre, has listed the most popular advice tech and adviser artificial intelligence (AI) systems viewed by financial advisers in the first half of 2025.

Data revealed that Iress, Pensionlab and Benchmark Capital were the top three most viewed advice tech firms overall, while AdvisoryAI, Saturn and PlannerPal led the AI-only category.

Other firms in the top 10 included Evalue, ACRE, Aveni, PlannerPal, intelliflo, 4admin, Templi.ai and Ningi.

Ian McKenna, founder of Financial Technology Research Centre and AdviserSoftware.com, said: “Many of the services advisers now offer would be unthinkable without technology enabling them.

“These evidence-based findings send a valuable message to the industry about who and what, advisers are really focusing on when they are looking to select and enhance the technology they are using to run their businesses.

“With so many systems on offer to advisers, they need help to understand what they each do. Time is advisers’ scarcest and most valuable resource.”

McKenna added: “A growing number of advisers tell us our reviews are their first port of call when they are looking explore technology and build shortlists of the best firms to help them with a particular need.

“These results, and the underlying analysis can help platforms, insurers and asset managers gain a clear picture of how advisers are working and the technology companies whose processes they need to fully understand.

“The tech advisers use has a growing impact on how they are selecting and recommending investments, products and services to clients.”

He said: “We also see it as crucial for business development managers (BDMs) and others working with advisers to have a clear understanding of how firms use different systems.

“Anyone trying to attract business from advisers who does not understand their technology and related processes is at an enormous disadvantage to those who are better informed.”
