Roger Davis (pictured), associate in the north east residential team at DM Hall’s Aberdeen office, has been shortlisted for the 2025 RICS Matrics Surveyor Awards in the Valuation Surveyor of the Year category.
Davis, who graduated from Reading University in 2013, carries out residential valuation work for local and national clients.
He has also supported graduate trainees through the MRICS pathway.
Winners will be announced at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London in November.
The awards celebrate young and emerging surveying professionals working in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure.
Davis said: “It is a great honour to be listed among the hopefuls in this most important award, which focuses on the impact of early career professionals across the sector. I feel that I am in very exalted company.
“DM Hall has been an excellent firm in which to develop my surveying career, promoting as it does the highest possible standards in professionalism, integrity and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction.
“I am very much looking forward to the awards ceremony in London in November and I hope that I can bring back another accolade for the firm.”
John McHugh, managing partner at DM Hall, said: “This recognition of Roger’s skill, dedication and commitment is richly deserved and the whole team wishes him well in November.
“He has brought a thorough professionalism to his work, as well as mentoring other colleagues and being active in promoting the profession in schools.
“He has also been instrumental in organising a charity quiz night for clients in aid of very worthy cancer charities.”
